Welcome to the website of Lighting Designer Felix Brown.

Born and raised in Sweden, Felix left his home country at the age of 19 to study politics in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It didn't take Felix long to realise he was on the wrong career path and instead spent much of his education with the University Drama Society. After gaining his politics degree, Felix spent the next year assisting with theatre productions across the city.

Feeling restriced by the confines of Belfast, Felix decided to follow his interest in drama applying to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. At RADA he was offered a place on the Selecon Specialist Stage Electrics and Lighting Design course under the tuition of Jonathan Samuels and Neil Fraser, a course which he recently graduated from with distinction. During his time at the Academy he designed lighting for, amongst others, Berlin Bertie, The Government Inspector, Into The Woods and The Madness of Esme and Shaz.

Currently he is technical manager for Bawren Tavaziva Dance Company, as well as a freelance technician on a variety of projects.
